On November 2nd The Prime Minsiter’s Economic Council launched the 6th working group “Labor Market Development”.
Each year the business environment faces the problem that the demand of the labour force does not correspond to the offer. In this context the aim of the group is to attack this problem and identify solutions that will help to harmonize the moldovan labor market.
At the first meeting, the participants in the debates discussed the concept of the creation of the Labor Market Observatory.
Experts in the meeting noted that there is a strong need for a labor market observer to unify efforts, human resources, financial resources, analytical capacities that will help in gathering information on the labor market. The Labor Market Observatory will provide systematized information from the labour market in order to support decision-makers and relevant labor market actors in decision making process. By the end of the meeting members of the Working Group agreed to establish the Labor Market Observatory.
