On October 3rd FSEA members attended an informative session regarding recent amendments and additions to the Labour Code, organized by AmCham.
On September 21st the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova have approved 36 amendments to the Labor Code. Essential amendments were separated into 6 categories: reduction of administrative duties, additional rights regarding the application of trial period,, new terms of dismissal, reduction of labor unions involvement, changes to the guarantees for employees with children and other categories.
The participants of the session discussed the changes to the Labour Code and how they will affect the companies and their employees. The following actions will be to see how the changes will be applied and to evaluate their impact. FSEA will be collecting feedback referred to amendments applicability and if needed to address it to Prime Minister’s Economic Council.
