FSEA members attended “Transcending Barriers to Growth” conference

On August 14th, FSEA members attended a business conference organized by the Utah-Moldova Business Partnership. The theme of the conference was “Transcending Barriers to Growth”. The conference brought together small businesses and key experts who shared their experiences on obstacles they had to overcome and how to do it successfully.
The event was organized in an informal manner with five different panels discussing customer service challenges, legal issues, marketing, business ethics, and making your money work.
FSEA members enjoyed some valuable pieces of advice from the key speakers.
Rick Folkerson, the Executive Director of Community at Ken Garff (8th largest car dealership in USA), emphasized that treating people right, using respect, intelligence, greatness, honesty, and teamwork would lead to success.
Lilia Carasciuc, executive director at Transparency International Moldova, spoke about business ethics.
Alexandru Lebedev, cofounder/CEO at #diez, cofounder at RockIT Academy, shared his experienced with social media and business visibility using social media tools.
Olga Oncea, the administrator at smart home company iDomus, said we are just one click away from the great educational resources.
Serghei Covali, the managing partner at Covali Bezede Comandari Law Firm, brought some valuable legal inputs to the table.
The conference was a great success and FSEA appreciated being part of it.
FSEA have been collaborating with the Utah-Moldova partnership for some time and we will continue to work together.
